Darien Swarm Football And Cheer Teams Mark Historic Season With National Success

DARIEN, IL — The Swarm Football & Cheer organization is proud to announce an extraordinary season of accomplishments for its youth athletes, highlighted by exceptional performances on both the football field and at national cheer competitions.

The Darien Swarm U13 football team capped off a remarkable season with a runner-up finish at the Pop Warner Super Bowl National Championship in North Carolina, showcasing grit, teamwork, and elite play against top teams from across the country. After dominating through the brackets and earning their spot on the national stage, the Swarm battled fiercely in the Division 2 13U title game and secured a second-place national finish, a testament to the dedication of the players, coaches, and support from the entire Swarm community.

In addition to the football team’s success, Swarm cheerleading squads achieved outstanding results at the 2025 Pop Warner National Cheer & Dance Championships. Notably, the Tiny Mites cheer team delivered an impressive performance and finished 3rd place at Nationals, earning national recognition and showcasing the passion and skill of the organization’s youngest athletes.

The Mighty Mite and Pee Wee Cheer teams also competed at the national level, with routines marked by precision, energy, and strong team spirit — reflecting months of hard work and practice.

Every player, coach, and family member contributed to this success, and we couldn’t be more proud.”

The achievements of the Swarm athletes reinforce the organization’s commitment to youth development, teamwork, and excellence in sport. As the Swarm looks toward the 2026 season, registration opens for new athletes February 1, 2026 looking to join football and cheer programs in Darien and the surrounding communities.
