Burger Chain Opens In Darien
It is the second franchise in Illinois. The company has more than 160 locations.
DARIEN, IL — Wayback Burgers opened its Darien location Saturday. It has been in the works since last spring.
The restaurant is in the Darien Towne Center at 2425 75th St.
The local franchise is the second Wayback Burgers restaurant in Illinois. The other is in Oakbrook Terrace.

Wayback Burgers offers a variety of cooked-to-order burgers as a single patty or double patties, according to a news release.
The Connecticut-based chain said last year the Darien restaurant was expected to bring 30 jobs. John and Julie Stack are the local franchise owners.

Wayback Burgers is in 34 states, with the chain saying it is expanding its footprint nationwide. The company was founded in 1991. It has more than 160 locations.
Wayback also plans to open franchises in the Middle East, Northern Africa, South Africa, Bangladesh, Ireland, Japan and Germany.
