College Scholarships Total $27.8M for Hinsdale South Class of 2016

Loyola University Chicago offered the most scholarships to Hinsdale South students this year.

Hinsdale South High School today announced that the Class of 2016 earned $27.8 million in college scholarships, up from the $17.6 million in scholarships reported last year.

“Each year I take great pride in congratulating our students on their amazing achievements,” said Superintendent Dr. Bruce Law. “This year is no different but I must draw attention to the fact that through their hard work, our students have earned a tremendous amount of financial support from many fine colleges and universities across the nation, up nearly 58 percent over last year. That is truly an incredible number. With the help of teachers and staff over their four years, these students have accomplished so much through their deep commitment to their studies and their futures. We look forward to all that the Class of 2016 will achieve as they continue in the tradition of excellence on whatever path the future may bring.”
