Darien Police Reports: Property Damage, Theft, Burglary
Darien Police Department reported crimes through June 12.

Between 8 and 9 p.m. June 6 in a parking lot in the 2400 block of 75th Street, someone spray painted a parked car. There was no evident pattern. The estimated value of the damage is $200.
Nayetta Reed, 36 of Honeysuckle Rose Lane in Willowbrook, was arrested June 7 and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding in the 7100 block of Cass Avenue. Reed was processed and released with a court date of June 23 at the Downers Grove Field Court.

Lidia Martinez, 43 of the 500 block of Jefferson Street in Joliet, was arrested June 7 and charged with retail theft. Police report she tried to take a microfiber towel, an iPhone screen protector and lens cleaner past the last point of sale from Walmart at 2189 75th Street. Martinez was processed and released with a court date pending at the Downers Grove Field Court. The estimated value of the merchandise is $36.
A resident in the 6700 block of Crest Road reported that between 8 p.m. June 8 and 5:15 a.m. June 9, someone entered an unlocked door to a detached garage and stole alcohol and nine packs of cigarettes. The estimated loss is $98.

A male juvenile who lives in Hinsdale was cited June 9 for unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor in the 7300 block of Cass Avenue. The juvenile was released to a parent with a court date pending at the Downers Grove Field Court.
Richard Morales, 47 of the 1200 block of Needles Court in Naperville, was arrested June 9 and charged with driving while license suspended in the 7500 block of Cass Avenue. Morales was processed and released with a court date of July 7 at the Downers Grove Field Court.
A resident in the 6900 block of Brookbank reported that sometime between 9:50 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. June 12, someone stole a robotic lawn mower from the front yard of the residence. The estimated loss value is $1,000.
