The eatery said it would enhance customers' experiences.

DARIEN, IL – A Darien restaurant is seeking a liquor license from the city, saying the request is based on customer interest.

Mayor Joseph Marchese, the city's liquor commissioner, is recommending approval of the license for Bua Thai Kitchen, 737 Plainfield Road.

In an email to the city, Randy Marek of Bua Thai said the restaurant wanted a beer and wine license because of inquiries from customers, who believe it would "enhance their dining experience."
