Darien Restaurants Burglarized Overnight: Cops

Several Burr Ridge businesses were hit the same night, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Two Darien restaurants were burglarized overnight Wednesday, with money stolen from both, local police said.

Burr Ridge also reported a string of burglaries of businesses.

About 3:30 a.m., Darien police were notified about a broken window at Rosati's Pizza, 8137 S. Cass Ave., police said in response to a Patch inquiry. About $100 was reported stolen.

Shortly after, officers discovered a break-in at Al Chile Mexican Grill, 8123 S. Cass Ave., where $600 was taken, police said.

Between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Thursday, five Burr Ridge businesses were broken into, police said.

The businesses were Falco's Pizza, 15W561 S. Frontage Road; Great American Bagel, 104 Burr Ridge Parkway; Vince's Flower Shop, 108 Burr Ridge Parkway; Salon Hype, 110 Burr Ridge Parkway; and the Are We Live lounge, 312 Burr Ridge Parkway.

Suspects tried to enter La Cabanita restaurant, 118 Burr Ridge Parkway, but were unsuccessful, police said.

Unknown amounts of cash were stolen from Great American Bagel, Vince's and Salon Hype, police said.

At Are We Live, three cash registers were taken, police said.

Burr Ridge police said three suspects were possibly involved.
