Free Coffee at 7-Eleven Today

More than 8,000 participating stores will offer up a free 20-oz. cup of coffee to customers on Friday, Sept. 28.

The weekend is almost here, and if you’re in need of a Friday-morning pick me up, you’re in luck.

Participating 7-Eleven stores are offering a free large coffee to everyone who stops in between 6 and 10 a.m. on on “CofFree Day,” Friday, Sept. 28. There are 12 7-Elevens within five miles of Darien

Not going to be in Darien Friday morning? No problem. Coffee lovers can download the free timeRAZOR app for iPhone or Android smartphones to find a participating location near them or find one on the 7-Eleven store locator online.

The free 20-ounce beverage will also get customers a free vote in this year’s 7-Election. Just choose your candidate’s cup to cast your vote in 7-Eleven’s unscientific presidential poll.

In case you’re curious, President Barack Obama is leading challenger Mitt Romney with 58 percent of the 7-Eleven coffee-drinking vote nationwide, and with 57 percent of the vote in Illinois.
