Hinsdale Police Reports: Vandalism, Theft, Dog Bite, DUI

Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Nov. 17

A student at Hinsdale Central High School reported his wallet was stolen from a locker between Nov. 10 and 11, according to Hinsdale police. The wallet contained $30 to $40. The locker was unlocked when the wallet was stolen.

A man reported he was bitten by two unrestrained dogs Nov. 11 while he was playing Frisbee golf at Katherine Legge Memorial Park, according to Hinsdale police. The dog owner got the dogs and left the area in an SUV.

Lizzette Medina, 36 of the 8800 block of Lincolnwood Drive in Evanston, was stopped Nov. 15 at Madison Street and Warren Terrace for an improper turn, according to Hinsdale police. She was seen to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted to testing that showed she was over the limit, police reported. She was charged and released to appear in court.

A man reported he hired an attorney who was not providing the services they had agreed on, according to Hinsdale police. The fraud occurred between June 14, 2011 and Nov. 16, 2014, police reported.

Felix Arriaga, 38 of the 5600 block of South Sacramento Avenue in Chicago, was stopped Nov. 15 for speeding and improper lane use at Ogden Avenue and Madison Street, according to Hinsdale police. He was seen to be under the influence of alcohol, and he refused BAC testing, police reported. He was charged with speeding, improper lane use, illegal transportation of alcohol and DUI, police reported. He was released to appear in court.

Someone vandalized a house under construction between Nov. 14 and 16 in the 800 block of South Oak Street, according to Hinsdale police. Surveillance equipment was also reported stolen from the home.
