Kids' Talent Show Thursday at Darien's Library

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Darien for Thursday, Aug. 1:

·      A kids’ talent show (“Ssnging, acting, playing an instrument, comedy, etc.”) is being held at the Indian Prairie Library at 1:00 p.m. for 1st -through 6th-graders. The series of two-minute performances kicks off at 1:00 p.m.

·      The Southwest Suburban Children’s Choir (who practice weekly at Hinsdale South High School in Darien) is currently accepting new members for all sessions of the 2013-2014 season. Kids from 1st-through 6th-graders are invited to join. Click here for more information on registering.

·      The DeLay/Lace PTA is meeting at  7:00 p.m. on Thursday night at the Lace School. (Check out their most recent newsletter, from June, here.)
