New Restaurant Opening In Darien
The establishment plans to serve cocktails, which the owner said can elevate any kind of meal.

DARIEN, IL – A new restaurant is set to open in Darien this weekend, and the owner promises to give customers an experience.
Harmi Sushi is set to hold a "soft opening" at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at 7516 S. Cass Ave., which is in the Brookhaven Marketplace. It will be where Dunkin' Donuts used to be.
On Monday, the Darien City Council approved the restaurant's liquor license.

"We're a little different from other sushi restaurants in the area because we're going to do a lot of fun things," owner Kristi Charlton told the council.
She said her career has involved liquor sales for the last 16 years.

"A good cocktail can really elevate any kind of meal," Charlton said. "We want to be able to showcase our cocktails and how that complements our meals."
According to the restaurant's website, it will prepare dishes originating from Japan and Korea.
The restaurant plans to be open every day except Monday and Tuesday. Its hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for dinner.
