No Tenant Yet For Proposed Darien Restaurant Site
A Downers Grove developer with experience in franchising is proposing the Darien project.

DARIEN, IL – A developer is asking for Darien's permission to build a restaurant with a drive-thru near the corner of 75th Street and Cass Avenue.
But the proposed building is "speculative," meaning it has no tenant, according to a city memo last week.
"(A)n end user has not been finalized," the memo said.

The developer is Downers Grove-based Indvestia Capital. The owner is Vick Mehta, who is described on the firm's website as a 20-year veteran of retail, franchising and real estate investing.
The 1,000-square-foot restaurant is planned for between Taco Bell and Concentra Urgent Care, according to the proposal. It would include outdoor seating.
