THURSDAY, AUGUST 23
Criminal Damage to Vehicle
Sometime between 5 p.m. on Aug. 22 and 7:45 a.m. on Aug. 23, someone slashed the tires of a car parked in a common parking area at the 1100 Block of Plainfield Road. The damage was estimated to be $300.

Vandalism/Criminal Damage to Property
Sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., someone egged a house and cars parked in the home's driveway on the 6900 Block of Crest. Total cost of clean-up was estimated at $100.

Criminal Damage to Property
Sometime between 8 p.m. on Aug. 18 and 5:59 p.m. on Aug. 19, someone used an unknown object to damage a mailbox on the 1600 Block of Old Oak Place. The owner estimated to that the loss was about $75.
Sometime between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., someone used what appeared to be a BB or pellet to damage the front passenger window and windshield of a car parked at Hinsdale South. Total loss was estimated at $750.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 18
Vandalism
Sometime between 8 p.m. on Aug. 17 and 12:45 p.m. on Aug. 18, two street signs on the 1500 Block of 71st Street were vandalized with spray paint. The estimated loss was $40.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15
Criminal Damage to State Supported Property
At about 2:23 p.m., someone damaged a garage door on a shed at by ramming a bicycle into it. The estimated cost of damages was $300.
