Slow Driver In Darien Arrested On Warrants

In another case, a speeding motorist was charged with DUI, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

  • A 48-year-old Bolingbrook woman was driving 20 mph with her hazard lights on about 7 p.m. Friday on Plainfield Road, near Stevens Street. She had two DuPage County warrants charging failure to appear in court and a Will County warrant. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • A 24-year-old Bensenville man was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Saturday on charges of DUI, speeding 30 mph over the speed limit and improper lane usage. Police said the man was clocked at 70 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
