Surgical Mask-Donning Bandit Robs 2 DuPage County Bank

The FBI is now looking for the bank robber accused of robbing banks in Glendale Heights and Carol Stream.

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL - Federal investigators are searching for a bandit who sported a surgical mask when robbing two DuPage County banks during the past month.

The suspect is behind stickups at Bank of America, 506 S. Schmale Road in Carol Stream, and TCF Bank, 2164 N. Bloomingdale Road in Glendale Heights. The Bank of America robbery was reported shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23, and the TCF one, just before 5 p.m. on July 29, according to bandittrackerchicago.com.

The suspect is described as a white man who is between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He was wearing a black hat, red button down shirt and surgical mask during the Tuesday bank robbery in Carol Stream.

During the Glendale Heights robbery, he paired his medical mask with a black cowboy hat, black suit and light-colored, collared shirt.

He did not display a weapon in either robbery.
