Westmont Fresh Market; Social DS Gaming

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Darien today, July 25, 2013:

·      The Westmont Fresh Market is open just north of the City from 4 p.m. through 8 p.m. on Thursday at the corner of Cass Avenue and E. Quincy Street. Fresh produce, unique foods, craftwork and more are all available to shoppers.

·      The Indian Prairie Library is hosting a social Nintendo DS/3DS gaming afternoon for grades 1 and up, starting at 1 p.m. Thursday. Power strips will be available, so don’t forget your chargers! Families are welcome.

·      State Rep. Ron Sandack, whose 81st District includes a portion of Darien, will be holding “mobile office hours” at the Naper Boulevard Library, 2035 S. Naper Blvd., Naperville, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday. He writes: “Representatives from my District Office will collect questions and concerns and help residents access state services.”
