Willowbrook Residents Urged to Toss Unlimited Trash on 'Amnesty Days'

But those participating in the recycling and refuse collection must adhere to the list of acceptable items.

The contract between the Village of Willowbrook and Republic Services calls for an annual Amnesty Day.

On Amnesty Day, residents can place an unlimited volume of acceptable refuse at the curb without any garbage stickers. The Amnesty Day pick-ups will occur on your regularly-scheduled garbage collection day of the week.

The 2016 Amnesty Day program will be held on Monday, Oct. 3; Tuesday, Oct. 4; and Wednesday, Oct. 5 during regularly scheduled collections.
