The City of Decatur has declared a snow emergency effective at 7:30 am on 2/17/2022

Under the snow emergency regulations:

The parking, leaving or standing of any vehicle is prohibited on designated Emergency Snow Routes.  the snow emergency routes are identified by red and white signs.  The sign reads:  “Emergency Snow Route, No Parking after 2″ snowfall, Tow away zone“.

All vehicles now parked on the snow emergency routes must be removed within six (6) hours of the designated time of this declaration, regardless of normal parking regulations on these streets.  Violators of snow emergency regulations are subject to fines and towing.

An alert gives all drivers advance notice that predicted weather conditions could necessitate the declaration of a snow emergency in the near future.

A Declaration of Winter No-Parking Condition has been issued by the City of Decatur.  The declaration is effective on 2/17/2022 at 7:30 am.

Under the winter no-parking regulations:

The parking, leaving or standing of any vehicle is prohibited on designated Winter No-parking streest.  The winter no-parking streets are identified by red and white signs.  The sign reads:  “Winter No-Parking, when snow or ice is on street, Tow Away Zone“.

All vehicles now parked on the winter no-parking streets must be removed within six (6) hours of the designated time of this declaration, regardless of normal parking regulations on these streets.  Violators of winter no-parking regulations are subject to fines and towing.
