Ameren Illinois will be performing gas line installation work in the 200 block of South Martin Luther King Jr Drive beginning Tuesday, December 14, 2021. This work will cause the closure of the entire southbound lanes of South Martin Luther King Jr Drive, between E Wood Street and East Clay Street, starting at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 14, 2021, and will continue to approximately 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021. The detour route will be as follows: West Wood Street to South Main Street to East IL Route 105.
