Man Forces Female Into Her Home, Sexually Assaults Her: Police

The incident happened in the 300 block of West College Avenue in Decatur Friday morning.

DECATUR, GA — Police in Decatur are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man accused of forcing a female victim into her home and then sexually assaulting her Friday morning.

Authorities say the female was standing outside her residence in the 300 block of West College Avenue in Decatur at about 7 a.m. Friday when the man, who was armed with a gun, approached her, according to a news release from the Decatur Police Department.

He held her at gunpoint and ordered her into her home where she was sexually assaulted, police said.

The man then had the female victim drive him to a location within DeKalb County, according to the news release.

The man is described as a slender black man in his early- to mid-20s. He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium complexion, according to a news release. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and grey pants.
