DPD seized 26 pounds of meth in November, totaling $33k (wandtv.com) — Decatur police seized 26 pounds of meth in November, a huge jump from less than a pound in October, as they intensify efforts against local drug dealing. Officers say meth’s lower price compared to cocaine is driving its popularity, and they’re urging residents to report drug or criminal activity to DPS or Crimestoppers.

3. Donna Rowena Miller (suncommercial.com) — A beloved grandmother with deep Indiana roots is remembered by a large extended family that now reaches into Decatur, where her granddaughter Judy Miller lives. Donna Rowena Miller’s life of faith, service at Bloomfield First Baptist Church, and legendary homemade cooking is celebrated as relatives invite memorial gifts to the church instead of flowers.
