Construction Delays Possible Tuesday

Crosswalks in the vicinity of Waukegan and Deerfield Roads will be marked today during daytime hours with the potential to cause traffic delays, according to Chief Project Engineer John Guccione.

“The focus will be on Waukegan Road and Deerfield Road stop bars and cross walks, as well as stop bars and cross walks near schools,” Guccione said in an email. “This operation will take place throughout the day. However impact to traffic should be minimal.”

This is a one day project, according to Guccione.
