Deerfield Begins Annual Leaf Pickup
Village will get residents' fallen leaves the day of their scheduled garbage collection.
Deerfield residents who want someone to collect their autumn leaves can take advantage of the Village’s annual Fall Leaf Collection Program which started Monday and continues through Nov. 22.
Residents need to rake their leaves to the curb or carriage walk the night before their scheduled garbage pickup, according to the Village website. The piles should not exceed five feet in width. Leaves should not be set by the curb earlier than the night before the weekly collection.
A complete list of requirements is contained on the Village website.
