Deerfield Police: Have Coffee With A Cop

Deefield police are inviting the community this Saturday to join them for coffee in an effort to build community relations.

DEERFIELD, IL — Deerfield police are inviting the community to come chat with some of the department's cops for Coffee with a Cop.

The Saturday, Dec. 8 event at Starbucks will run from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

There will be free coffee and giveaways while cops of all different ranks and of different units will be available to chat with the public.

The purpose of Coffee with a Cop is to "answer questions and help bridge the gap between the community and police department," the department posted in the event's Facebook page.
