Driver With Revoked License Endangers Welfare Of A Child: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

The Waukegan resident was arrested in unincorporated Grayslake over the weekend, according to police.

Jose O. Mercado, 36, of the 300 block of E. Seegers Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of attempting to defraud a drug test, and was arrested Dec. 30 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was being detained on other charges at the time of the report and a court date of Jan. 7 was assigned.

AGGRAVATED UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON

Monrorrio R. Hargrove, 20, of the 2400 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, had a warrant for aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, and was arrested Dec. 30 in the 200 block of Water Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 20.

ASSAULT

Jeffrey J. Smith, 46, of the 24600 block of W. Rollins Road, unincorporated Round Lake, had a warrant out of Coles County for assault, and was arrested Dec. 31 in the 34600 block of W. Rollins Road, unincorporated Round Lake. A future court date in Coles County was to be determined at the time of the report.

BATTERY

David Guillen Antunez, 45, of the 22100 block of W. Pineview Drive, unincorporated Antioch, is accused of battery, resisting arrest, and was arrested Dec. 31 in the 22100 block of W. Pineview Drive, unincorporated Antioch. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 4.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY FELON

Maurice M. McDonald, 40, of the 36200 block of N. Park Drive, unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and was arrested Dec. 31 in the 36200 block of N. Park Drive, unincorporated Gurnee. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 29.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Angel L. Carrillo, 24, of the 2000 block of Gideon Avenue, Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Dec. 31 at W. Yorkhouse Road and N. McCarthy Road, Wadsworth. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 4.
  • Cesar J. Aburto, 21, of the 24300 block of W. Tyler Avenue, unincorporated Round Lake, is accused of DUI combo drugs/alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Jan. 1 at Fairfield Road and Mayfield Drive, Round Lake Beach. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 4.
  • Marco Hernandez, 50, of the 500 block of Normandie Lane, Round Lake Beach, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Jan. 4 in the 18800 block of W. Grand Avenue, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 11.
  • Jack W. Marabella, 19, of the 2700 block of 10th Street, Winthrop Harbor, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Jan. 4 at Route 45 and Gages Lake Road, unincorporated Grayslake. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 25.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

Liced Marco-Salgado, 26, of the 500 block of South Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, endangering the welfare of a child, and was arrested Jan. 4 at Route 120 and Battershall Drive, unincorporated Grayslake. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 18.
