DUI, Crack Cocaine Possession, Firearm Possession: Lake County Blotter

The Lake County Sheriff's Department made a series of arrests over the past week and charged local residents with various criminal offenses.

DEERFIELD, IL — The Lake County Sheriff’s Department made a series of arrests over the past week involving local residents who were charged with a variety of criminal offenses.

Local residents should remember that criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and that defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

ARRESTS

Katarzyna Dybas, 33, Zion, was arrested on April 1 and charged with possession of crack cocaine and obstructing justice (destroying evidence). Bond was set at $20,000 and she is scheduled to appear in court on April 25.

Lee Thomas, 36, Waukegan, was arrested on April 1 and charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of crack cocaine, and possession of a defaced firearm. Bond was set at $150,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on April 6.

Cody Wolf, 26, was arrested on April 1 and charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $75,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on April 19.

Jenna Hassler, 26, Whitewater, Wis., was arrested on March 31 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without insurance. She was released on $3,000 recognizance and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

Victoria Harris, 45, Zion, was arrested on March 31 and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and transportation of an open container. She was released on $3,000 recognizance and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

Zbigniew Myszowski, 62, Round Lake, was arrested on March 31 and charged with driving without a driver’s license. He was released on $1,500 recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court at a later time.

Timothy Culotta, 44, unincorporated Lake Villa, was arrested on March 31 and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. He was released on $1,500 recognizance and scheduled to appear in court at a later time.

Gina Charles, 62, Zion, was arrested on March 31 and charged with driving with a suspended license. She was released on $1,500 recognizance and ordered to appear in court at a later time.

Oscar Rodriguez-Luna, 27, Milwaukee, was arrested on March 30 on a warrant for violating a protection order. He was held on $100,000 bond and will appear in court at a later time.

Ashilyn Ramirez, 24, Waukegan, was arrested on March 29 and charged with driving with a suspended license and without insurance. She was released on $2,000 recognizance and ordered to appear in court at a later time.
