Lakeshore Recycling Systems Collecting Christmas Trees In Deerfield

Trees will be collected free of charge through Jan. 23, according to the Village of Deerfield.

DEERFIELD, IL — Lakeshore Recycling Systems will be collecting natural, non-artificial Christmas trees starting Friday through Jan. 23, according to the Village of Deerfield. Residents are asked to remove all tinsel, ornaments and lights.

Trees can be set out without a bag at the curb or the end of driveways. Due to snow or ice, pickup may not occur on regular service days for residents. LRS drivers will be in the community throughout Jan. 23 to complete collection.
