Letter to the Editor: Caucus Slate for Mayor, Board
Joan Reed sees clarity in April 9 election.

Election Day for Deerfield residents is fast approaching. For some, the choice for Mayor and three trustees is clear. For others, maybe not so clear. But for this Deerfield resident of 25 years, clarity is not an issue. There is no doubt that the four candidates on the Caucus slate are hands-down, the most qualified candidates on the ballot.
Combined, Mayor Harriet Rosenthal and incumbent Trustees Alan Farkus, Mary Oppenheim and Barbara Struthers bring over 50 years of commitment and service to the Village. Each candidate provides the wisdom and leadership necessary to keep Deerfield a thriving community. They are dedicated to making sure that all aspects of Village interests are dealt with, not just the few issues that may affect a small segment of the community.
Election Day is Tuesday, April 9. Early voting begins on March 25. I encourage you to support the Caucus slate and reelect Mayor Rosenthal and Trustees Farkus, Oppenheim and Struthers. By doing so, residents can be assured that Deerfield will continue to be governed in a conscientious and responsible manner.
