Letter to the Editor: Support Feiger’s Township Slate
State Sen. Julie Morrison (D-Deerfield) backs Democratic slate for Township offices.

For nearly sixteen years, I had the honor to serve our community as the West Deerfield Township Supervisor. In that capacity, we worked to deliver high quality services for our residents in a fiscally responsible manner. As I witness first hand the difficult decisions our state will have to make and the impact they will have on our local bodies of government, I see that it is more important now than ever that we have strong leaders in our local offices. That is why I am supporting Alyson Feiger for Township Supervisor in this April's election.
In December, I appointed Alyson to Supervisor because she understands our community's values and her professional experience has prepared her to manage a budget and lead a staff. She has hit the ground running and has proven to be the dynamic leader our Township needs. She has already demonstrated the ability to meet challenges with compassion and foresight, and will continue to lead the township with efficiency.
In order for the Township Government to successfully carry out its mission, it is important that we have a strong team. Tom Healy (Assessor), Kristen Scott (Clerk), Ron Levitsky, and Ron Schwartz (Trustees) have a proven track record of good governance and keeping Township taxes the lowest in our area. Jack Strom and John Lesiotis (Trustees) will each bring business experience and an understanding of our values to our board. We need this team to steer our township in the right direction during these challenging times.
