Music, Music, All Over Deerfield, Music

Music lovers have three choices in the Village today and don't have to limit themselves to one pick.

Do you like music?

If you do, Wednesday is a perfect day for you in Deerfield with three different opportunities to whet your appetite. There are three choices in the Village and you could enjoy all of them.

As usual, there will be a pair of free concerts. Start with lunch at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Jewett Park to hear Jeanie B’s “Rock with the ages.” Bring your meal or let Cooker’s make it for you.

If that is not enough music for you, “Chick Singer Night” unfolds at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Starbucks Plaza. Bob Gand leads the big band performance with singers Lana Rae, Angie Lyons, Rebecca Kaghan and Stephanie Gaidus adding the vocal touch.

Once you finish the concert, you can head to the Deerfield Public Library at 7:30 p.m. for a discussion of music around the world and hear a lot of it too. Everything played is part of the library’s collection you can borrow.
