New Restaurant To Replace Townhouse
Village works with new owners. Townhouse closed Sunday.

will be replaced by a new Deerfield restaurant in the coming months, according to a sign on the existing eatery and Village officials.
“We are working with somebody,” Deerfield Planner Jean Spagnoli said. She cannot disclose the name of the establishment until it appears on the agenda of a public meeting. She did confirm it is a restaurant and bar.
A sign on Townhouse indicated the establishment’s owner, Restaurants America, closed the restaurant Sunday though the fixtures are visible through the windows a well as the outdoor tables and chairs remaining in place.

“As of Sunday, July 29, we are closing down Townhouse,” the sign read. “Deerfield, we want to thank you for the past amazing years we’ve been in this great community and wish Deerfield nothing but the best of luck.”
