
A pair of unique family movie settings are being offered by the Friday and August 4.
A movie will be part of a community campout from 5 p.m. Friday through 8:30 a.m. Saturday at . There is no charge but all participants must register once they establish their camp ground, according to a news release from the Park District.
Sports equipment and grills are also free to use but people must bring their own food and beverages to prepare. People under 18 must be with a parent or guardian.

The movie setting August 4 will be and viewers will not have to leave the water to watch. They just have to arrive with an inner tube or raft as early as 7 p.m. and be comfortable for the screening at 8 p.m.
The picture will be shown on a 10-foot screen and the popcorn is free, according to the release.
