Park District Plans MLK Day Activities

Deerfield Park District will have events for children out of school for the Martin Luther King holiday Monday.

While Deerfield has no official events planned Monday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Day, the Deerfield Park District has a “Kids Day Off” program for the Villages youth from kindergarten through eighth grade.

“We schedule these for all school holidays, even in service days,” Park District Communications and Foundation Manager Darla Kuhs said.
