How do you distinguish yourself from your opponent(s)?

As a local public official, I have experience in working cooperatively with other board members, regardless of party labels, to do as much as we can for the community, while husbanding our limited resources. I believe that government, especially at the local level, can do a great deal of good for its constituents.

I taught middle school social studies for 35 years. I also helped my late wife with her stable business.

What is your educational background?

B.A. – Northern Illinois University
M.A. – Sir George Williams University (now Concordia), Montreal, Quebec

What other information would you like to share?

I have also been involved in community service. For example, I was on the Executive Board of the Lake Forest Caucus, I was a New Trier Special Olympics Coach, and I volunteer for Becca’s Foundation, which deals with the emotional aspects of cancer on children and their support groups.
