Solo Art Exhibit of InYoung Ju at Patty Turner Center

Art enthusiasts are invited to view the works of Artist InYoung Ju, "Art of LOHAS," throughout April at the Patty Turner Center in Deerfield.

A reception for artist InYoung Ju will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Patty Turner Center. The public is welcome to attend.

This is the ninth solo exhibition for InYoung Ju, who has also participated in more than 140 group and individual exhibitions in China, France, Japan, Korea and the United States.

InYoung Ju was born in South Korea and received both a Masters in Fine Art and a Ph.D in Design Management from universities in South Korea. InYoung Ju works in the medium of painting, multi-media and installation art. She has written several papers on color symbolism, women in art, and museum policy and management. She currently resides and pursues her studio practice in Chicago.

"InYoung Ju has made a profound contribution to the art world. Her insight into life itself has led her to incorporate a healthy, green living approach with her art. This movement is known as Life of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS)," said Dr. Moon Soo Lee, head curator of the Kyo Dong Art Museum.
