Deerfield Arrests: May 7, 2013

DUI

Mark Friedlich, 62, of Great Neck, NY, was arrested March 19 for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with no headlights illuminated when required, according to Deerfield Police reports.

Police observed Friedlich driving at 10:34 p.m. without headlights working on his vehicle in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Waukegan Roads, according to the report. After stopping him at Lake Cook Road and Corporate Drive, police smelled a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his breath.

Friedlich failed field sobriety tests and registered a blood alcohol level of .109. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. April 10.

Driver’s License Infractions

Benito Gomez, 37, of Glenview was arrested March 19 for driving with a revoked license, according to Deerfield Police reports. After a random check while Gomez was driving in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Waukegan Roads, police discovered Gomez’s license had been revoked. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. in Park City.
