Des Plaines to Explore Fee Reductions

Two Des Plaines aldermen have asked city staff to look into the possibility of lowering the cost of vehicle stickers and other tax reductions, which could be funded by Rivers Casino gaming tax revenue or reserve funds, TribLocal reported.

In June, Des Plaines City Council approved a resolution that designated gaming tax revenue from Illinois’ 10^th casino to be spent on infrastructure and debt reduction.
