A Facebook page dedicated to save the Des Plaines Oasis has come to life.
It was announced Thursday that the oasis would be shuttered and removed. The oasis is being taken out as part of the $2.2 billion I-90 rebuilding and widening project.
The Save Des Plaines Oasis Facebook page notes some of the oasis' history such as being a featured location in The Blues Brothers. We've attached video of the scene to this post.
