Family: Sister’s Death in Des Plaines House Fire a ‘Tragedy’

While fire investigators have not determined a cause for the fire that erupted at a Des Plaines residence on the 1000 block of Irwin Avenue a little after midnight on Oct. 8, family remembered the woman, Sandra Lupy, 48, whose life the incident claimed for her love of laughter, fun and community, the Chicago Tribune reported.
