• Dixon's Ahmyrie McGowan scores 20 points in loss to Morton: Monday's Sauk Valley Roundup (shawlocal.com) — Dixon girls basketball took its first loss of the season, falling 43-32 to Morton despite a 20-point performance from standout Ahmyrie McGowan, dropping the Duchesses to 8-1. The Sauk Valley roundup also recaps other area girls and boys basketball games and bowling results involving nearby schools and tournaments.
