2 Dead In Downers Grove Domestic Incident: Police
Several people told police there was a man with a gun inside the home, according to police.
DOWNERS GROVE — Two people were found dead in a domestic-related shooting in Downers Grove Tuesday night, according to police.
Police said officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man with a gun inside a home in the 6400 block of Fairview Avenue at around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Several witnesses told police there was a man with a gun inside the home and that they had heard a gunshot, according to the Downers Grove Police Department.

Officers who entered the home found a man and woman dead with gunshot wounds. Police say there appears to be no threat to the public.
Their identities have not yet been released. DuPage County Coroner Richard Jorgensen told Patch that he anticipates having the identification of both parties, along with more information, after his forensic examination later Wednesday.
