Over $500K In Community Impact Grants Awarded To Local Organizations By DuPage Foundation
Grants given via the new program will support workforce development, animal welfare, youth education and environmental initiatives.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — More than 30 local organizations were awarded Community Impact grants during DuPage Foundation's most recent grant cycle. In total, $519,520 was granted to support initiatives in animal welfare, workforce development, youth education and environmental sustainability.
Animal Welfare
Five organizations were granted a total of $84,000 to aid their efforts in animal welfare. They are:

- Paws for a Cause Vet Care
- West Suburban Humane Society
Environmental Initiatives
A total of $76,520 was awareded to four DuPage County organizations for initiatives focused on animal welfare. These recipients are:

“Expanding our grant programs to include a category dedicated to workforce development was a natural and necessary next step,” Barb Szczepaniak, DuPage Foundation's vice president for programs, said in a statement.
Szczepaniak added, “By investing in job readiness, skills training, and pathways to stable employment, we’re not just funding programs—we’re strengthening families, local businesses, and the long-term economic vitality of DuPage County.
