App Puts District News, School Updates, Student Forms At Parents' Fingertips
Starting in August, District 58 plans to use ParentSquare as its main way to communicate with parents.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Parents of students in Downers Grove Grade School 58 will have a new way to stay informed during the 2025-26 school year. The district is set to launch ParentSquare in August, a communication platform that gives parents access to school updates, district news and other resources.
The service will be available in English and Spanish. Users can also program ParentSquare to translate alerts in their preferred language.
Via ParentSquare, parents can arrange to receive alerts via text, phone, email or other apps. Users can opt for a daily message recap or opt in to receive alerts in real time. The platform will also be a hub for student forms, event signups, permission slips and more.
