Cars Burglarized While In Parking Garage Downers Grove
Police say cars were burglarized while they were parked at Terraces Condominiums.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Two cars were burglarized while they were parked in a garage at the Terraces condominium complex in Downers Grove. The burglaries took place sometime between Jan. 5 and Jan. 6, according to the Downers Grove crime blotter. During the investigation, officers reported finding a stolen car in the complex's outside lot.
Police were called to 5400 Walnut Ave. just before 10 a.m. on Jan. 6 for a report that vehicles had been burglarized in the parking garage that is on the complex's ground level. Officers reported that they saw shattered glass on the ground and a Chevrolet Equinox and Infiniti Q60 with their doors open.
A resident reported that a laptop valued at $2,500 was stolen from their Chevrolet. The Infinit's owner told police nothing was missing from their car.

An officer reported that while inspecting the outside parking lot, they found a car that had previously been reported stolen.
