Corner Pantry Burglarized In Downers Grove
Police say someone broke a window to gain entry to Corner Pantry on Main Street Sunday.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Someone broke into Corner Pantry on Main Street and stole cash and other items Sunday morning, according to police.
Officers were called to the location at 4240 Main St. just after 5 a.m. for a report that the store's keyholder had been alerted by a burglar alarm and saw someone inside the store.
When police got to the scene, they found that the store's window had been shattered. Police say the cash register was found on the ground, along with several bottles of alcohol, some of which were broken.

As of Thursday, police had not released additional information about what had been stolen.
