D58 Continues Parent Learning, Assessment and Reporting Mechanism

Meetings will take place in November and December.

Downers Grove Grade School District 58 will host additional Parent Learning, Assessment and Reporting Mechanism presentations for this fall.

Parents may attend these presentations to learn more about the new SQUIRREL portal, 1:1 device learning, standards-based learning and longitudinal reporting. No pre-registration is required; just show up.

All meetings will take place at the Longfellow Center, 1435 Prairie Ave.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 6:30-8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 1-2:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Nov. 30 from 1-2:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 6:30-8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 9 from 6:30-8 p.m.

Previously, the District held separate presentations on SQUIRREL/1:1 learning and standards-based learning/longitudinal reporting. This new parent series will combine all topics into one 1.5-hour presentation.
