Ex-Employee Threatened To Plant Bomb In Car At Porsche Warehouse: Authorities
"If I'm going to go out, I'm going to go out with a bang!" he said in a YouTube video, according to authorities.

WESTMONT, IL — A former employee of a Porsche warehouse in Westmont made a YouTube video claiming he had planted an explosive in one of the vehicles, authorities said.
Devan Sheard, 32, of Joliet, on Tuesday was ordered detained as he awaits trial on a count of disorderly conduct for a false bomb threat, the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office reported.
“The alleged conduct of Mr. Sheard left employees at the facility, as well as the Westmont community anxious and in fear for their personal safety,” State’s Attorney Robert Berlin said in a news release.

Police responded around 1:30 p.m. Sunday to the Napleton Porsche warehouse in the 700 block of Burr Oak Drive about the video, in which Sheard is seen discussing planting improvised explosive devices in the vehicles, authorities said.
In the video, according to officials, he is recorded approaching multiple cars with raised hoods and asking, “Should I hide the IED over here?” He also says in the video, “I’m planting the IED as we speak,” “I did plant the IED in one of these vehicles,” authorities said, and, “If I’m going to go out, I’m going to go out with a bang!”

Bomb squads searched the warehouse and Sheard’s home but found no bomb-making materials, according to the state’s attorney’s office.
