DGN Girls' Swim And Dive Team Places 6th At Neuqua Valley Invite

The Downers Grove North Girls Swim and Dive Team placed 6th in both the Frosh-Soph and Varsity competitions at the Neuqua Valley Invitational on Saturday in Naperville.

St. Charles Northʼs Varsity team placed first overall followed by Neuqua Valley in second place. Neuqua Valley won the Frosh-Soph competition, with Waubonsie Valley placing second.

There were many highlights and best times for the Downers Grove North Trojans during the meet. Sophomore Ellie Benge placed second in the varsity 100 yard butterfly with a time of 59.95. Sophomore Alexa Johnson won the frosh-soph 50 yard freestyle event and placed 5th in the 100 yard freestyle race. DGN juniors Emily and Elizabeth Aument placed first and second respectively in the Varsity Diving Competition.
