DGS Girls Soccer Team Volunteers at PADS

On Nov. 9 the DGS girls soccer team volunteered to help PADS ministry First Congregational Church, 1047 Curtiss St., Downers Grove.

During the event, the team set out over 50 pads, pillows and linens for the overnight guests, which included mostly children. The girls organized clothing and other donations in addition to packing over 55 brown bag lunches for the guests to take in the morning.

The Girls Soccer Program will return to volunteer at PADS on Nov. 23 and Dec. 7 and 14 with each of the different levels involved.
