DGS Varsity Boys' Golf Team Places 9th at Providence Catholic Invitational

The Downers Grove South varsity boys golf team shot a 326 to finish in 9th place in a field of 28 teams at the Providence Catholic Invitational on Saturday at The Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox.

For Downers South, Trent Caraher shot even par 72 to finish in second place individually out of 140 golfers.

Other scores for the Mustangs were Patrick Reeg 82, Dean Netzel 83, Corey Vondra 89 and Justin Zuidema 89.
