Herrick Invites Community to 'Bye Bye Birdie'

Herrick Middle School in Downers Grove Grade School District 58 invites the public to attend its fall musical, “Bye Bye Birdie.” The show will take place Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. at Herrick Middle School, 4435 Middaugh Ave.

The Tony Award-winning “Bye Bye Birdie” is a whimsical musical that satirizes American society in the 1950s. Catchy music, humor and an all-star cast will make this show an enjoyable experience for the entire family. The show stars Herrick eighth graders Billy Berberich, Lauren Schenk, Myles Laffey, Samantha Neveril, Ben Hodonicky and Julia Isoniemi.

Individuals may purchase tickets by completing this ticket order form and submitting it to Herrick’s front office. Paper copies of this form are also available at the Herrick office. If there are still seats available, Herrick will sell tickets at the door. All checks should be made payable to the “Herrick Activity Fund.”

Tickets cost $8 for adults, $5 for students (ages 6-18) and $3 for children (ages 0-5). Children ages 5 and younger will be admitted FREE to Sunday’s show, with a donation of a non-perishable food item.
